Phase 1: Accessing Wi-Fi Settings

On the terminal's home screen, locate and open the Settings app.

Tap on Network & Internet Settings.

Select Wi-Fi from the menu options.

Phase 2: Configuring the Static IP

Locate your Wi-Fi network in the list and tap the blue Gear icon next to the network name.

Tap the Pencil icon located at the top right corner of the screen to edit the network details.

In the pop-up window that appears, tap the Advanced Options dropdown menu.

Scroll down slightly and change the IP settings from DHCP to Static.

Scroll back up to the password field and enter your Wi-Fi password.

Tap Save to apply the changes.

Phase 3: Verifying Your Settings

Completely close out of the Settings app.

Re-open the Settings app and navigate back to your specific Wi-Fi network's advanced options (repeating the steps from Phase 1 and the beginning of Phase 2).

Verify that the IP Setting now reads as Static to confirm your configuration was successful.
